Nurses & doctors at Sally Mugabe Hospital (formerly Harare Central Hospital) have joined their counterparts at Parirenyatwa Hospital in a strike that could have devastating consequences for an already incapacitated health sector. These are Zimbabwe’s largest hospitals

Coronavirus is the most talked about topic in the streets at the moment and everyone is vulnerable to it including doctors and nurses.
If the government does not provide enough equipment for them then they will be easily infected and possibly die.

“We are now staying home because we don’t have enough equipment yet we have loved ones to be there for,” said one doctor

In a letter addressed to the Government, the ZAHDR said that they don’t have the necessary tools to work with on the frontline fighting the Coronavirus.
